• Membership Update and welcoming guests (Sue). Updated Dues for January 2026 - $55 to cover $5 for national MQG and $5 for our guild to cover expenses. Due by February.

• Criss Cross Applesauce, due at January meeting

• Lynn’s new block: Discovery by Carole Lyles Shaw. Use color way three with three colors and off white as the background color.

• Program Committee updates (Marilyn)

• Anne-Lu quilt display in Knife River - “Celebrating the Scandinavian Heritage of Knife River”

• Color collage

Sew and Tell - Please display your quilts during snack time

New business:

• Sew Along for 2026 - MQG Modern Block Sampler - for those that want a schedule do block 1 in January 

• Name tag special prize for 2026 due in March 

• Special Exhibit for Modern Medallions at MN quilt show 2026 

• Enger Lofts looking for quilts

• Marilyn - request from Northern Lights QG to present “what is modern?”

• Demos - 15-20 minute for a meeting - any ideas or volunteers

• Sign up sheet for first and last quilts - first batch in February 

• Quilt Walk January 31

• Bylaws committee - contact person is Lara

Beginning of the year reminders

• Wearing name tags as much as possible
