How am I a member of both Lake Superior Modern Quilt Guild (LSMQG) & The International Modern Quilt Guild (MQG)?

When you join a local guild, like LSMQG, you are automatically a member of MQG. Check out the membership page for more information about the benefits.

Why do I have to be a member to join many of the events like the holiday party in December and the retreats?

We offer the best price & opportunity for event registration to our members first as another benefit of membership. If space is still available, we will open to the public prior to closing registration. The August meeting is a potluck picnic & the December meeting is the Guild holiday party; so only members can attend these two particular meetings.

What is the refund policy for membership?

No refunds are offered on Membership. If you join, you are a member until the following February when we renew our membership as a Guild and with MQG.

What is the refund policy for events & workshops registration?

Registration for events and workshops is non-refundable.

Registration is transferrable to another member - members must coordinate and work out financials amongst themselves. LSMQG will not facilitate registration transfers, including reimbursements & requesting payment from another member.
